Today’s local papers are again full of argument and debate over Uttlesford’s draft local plan.

The Dunmow and Stansted Observer has run an article on the Bellway Homes vs jobs planning debacle in Stansted. It has also published my (long) letter in full.

The Saffron Walden Reporter has four pages on the issue. Page 4 and page 5 contain a response from the council – “We will listen to your concerns” – to last week’s page 1 story “Listen to our questions!”

Page 6 and page 7 are this week’s Reporter letters pages – eight more challenges to the way UDC has been handling that draft plan, including missives from Cllrs David Morson and Mike Hibbs as well as a shortened version of my letter.

The Dunmow Broadcast’s  letters take up only one page, but follow the same theme.
