Amidst growing distrust of public bodies I am publishing a dossier about how planning for the future has been mishandled at Uttlesford District Council. Compilation of the dossier, which can be read or  downloaded here, began last June and covers known events surrounding the local development framework (LDF) and local plan (LP) preparation over the past 16 months.

It is being published in the wake of a recent rejection by the overwhelming Conservative majority on the council to make any changes to the way the LDF and LP are being progressed. Liberal Democrat involvement in the process, including their involvement in the LDF Working Group, was recently terminated over dissatisfaction with opaqueness and secret meetings.
