Governors of the Federation of Farnham and Rickling Church of England School have voted overwhelmingly against the idea of moving the children of Farnham Primary School into redundant school premises in Stansted. This is good news and represents a common sense outcome to a proposal which angered parents of Farnham children and dismayed councillors and parents in Stansted. I hope that Essex County Council will now come up with proper proposals for additional primary school places in Stansted and will get behind making the Farnham school sustainable into the future.
