The existing Stansted runway has been here for 70 years and is only half full but Boris thinks we need another one ‘to tide us over’ until his Fantasy Island can be built. He claimed last month that his island airport could be built in six years but he must know that governments have been trying – on and off – to build a second Stansted runway for 50 years! He’s gone completely crackers!
Another fight to fight. Tho I did think that there was a 50 ? year reprieve? Or until 2050? If so then , hopefully he won’t get his wish. And it will be stopped before it is started.
